Founded by its current owners in 1991 Prima Doors was formed to supply both standard and bespoke steel doors to the industry and consisted of 4 personnel in a 182m2 factory unit with with a turnover of approximately Ł32,000.00.

Over the years Prima Doors has paid close attention to customers needs, pre-empting and developing products to meet growing market areas, such as high grade security doors and specialist sports facility doors with a proud history of delivering exceptional results. In the process, a unique business culture has been nurtured by the management which encourages our team to perform to their best.

Recognition of Prima's mission was given by the business community in 1999 by way of the prestigious Enterprise Award as winner of the Best Manufacturing Business in our field and Best Overall Business.

A clearly defined strategy has ensured our growth in both size and market share. During 2004 Prima relocated to a 6,600m2 factory unit, employing some 50 personnel, with a profitable 3.5 million turnover. A far cry from our humble beginnings. Our planning has brought us to this point, we are now focussing on the future with sustained investment, people training, product development and constantly reviewing our manufacturing processes. Our aim is to continually improve our service, broaden our array of products and customers, resulting in increased growth and profitability.
