Tested by the Loss Prevention Council (LPC) to BS 476: Parts 20 and 22: 1987 for upto four hours fire resistance, these doors are designed to cope with general usage. These tested doors can be fitted with door furniture to meet the most demanding specifications.

FLAMEGUARD doors are available as single or double doors with sidepanel and overpanel options to suit a wide range of applications . Internal or External use with a flush lipped forend and security pin hinges as standard. Smoke seals can be fitted to the head, jambs and thresholds to ensure a high level of smoke passage prevention to comply with BS476: Part 31.1 1983.

Flameguard doors meet Building Regulation Part B.

Tested in 2010 to meet the forthcoming mandatory standard BS EN 1634-1 2008 which comes in to force in 2012.

    50mm thick Door leaf with flush lipped astragal constructed from:

    2 No. 1.2 mm thick zinc coated steel sheets, which are welded together

    Reinforcing perimeter channels

    47.6 mm thick honeycomb core

  • FRAME

    Manufactured from 1.6 mm thick zinc coated steel

    Single rebate 130mm wide frame with additional rebate for flush lip

    A minimum of four fixing points are provided to each jamb

    Knockdown frames on double doors for transit and distribution

    100mm, 130mm, 200mm, 250mm are available upon request
