Steve Davies, the Managing Director of Prima Doors Limited, regards the successful promotion of health and safety as a mutual objective for all engaged by the company, which must be actively pursued by management and employees at every level.
Prima Doors Limited strives for the continual improvement of its health and safety systems, procedures, and performance. To support this commitment Prima Doors Limited is accredited within the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) having demonstrated compliance with and sound management of current basic health and safety legislation. The Company have also achieved SAFEcontractor accreditation in recognition of reaching the SAFEcontractor health and safety standards.
Prima Doors Limited recognises that the health and safety of its employees is of paramount importance both in social and economic terms, and consequently the Managing Director freely accepts the responsibilities placed on him under law. This responsibility is embodied in the Policy Statement, which shall be the basis of sound and safe practices used within the company.
It is the policy of the company to conduct its undertaking in such a way as to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health, safety and welfare of all its employees whilst at work, and of any other people not being in its direct employment who may be affected by its operations. This applies both on the premises of Prima Doors Limited and on sites where Prima Doors Limited acts as a subcontractor.
