Overhead Doors
For Applications requiring a high insulation value the door panels are produced in 610mm deep x 40mm thick sections by injecting a urethane insulated core between two 0.5mm thick galvanised steel skins. These skins are ribbed to create a lightweight but strong composite panel. Both sides of the door panel are prefinished in a white polyester coated stucco embossed finish as standard. The outer face is protected by a plastic film which is easily removed after installation.
Panels : Kingspan V-grooved panels 610 deep x 40mm thick are available as standard panels or finger trap in Architectural polyester colour coated steel stucco embossed or XL200 Leathergrain appearance. Fire Resistance: The facing materials used on composite panels, when tested independantly, have a class 1 surface spread of flame to BS 476: Part 7: 1971, and a Class 0 as defined by the Building Regualtions 1985.

Themal Bow: Due to the excellent thermal properties of our door panels the effect known as thermal bow is of no concern in terms of structural performance.

Thermal Resistance: Panel rated at 0.45 W/m2. Overall door performanced is a calculated result derived from test and subject to opening size.

Durability: The use of high quality materials and precise process control means that long service can be expected in most industrial and commercial applications.

Water tightness: Class 3 achieved as specified in BS EN 124525:2000

Air permeability: Class 3 achieved as specified in BS EN 12426:2000

Wind loading: Class 3 < 4000 w x 4000 h and Class 2 < 7000 w x 6000 h

Force of manual operation: Pass as specified in BS EN 12604:2000
